Classical | Cinematic
Our classical productions are heavily driven by memorable, catchy melodies—a reflection of our deep appreciation for the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods. We also create modern classical compositions heavily influenced by the French impressionist school, drawing inspiration from masters like Érik Satie, Claude Debussy, and Maurice Ravel.
In the realm of cinematic music, our foundations are built on legendary film composers like John Williams, Ennio Morricone, Alan Silvestri, Max Steiner, Jerry Goldsmith, and Elmer Bernstein. At the same time, we keep a close eye on contemporary trends, drawing modern inspiration from the likes of Michael Giacchino, Trent Reznor, Ramin Djawadi, and Ludwig Göransson.
Beyond traditional orchestral arrangements, we love incorporating modern and popular elements into our scores—such as synthesizers, heavy guitars, drum machines, ambient drones, and traditional ethnic instruments. Fusions with styles like jazz, rock, hip-hop, and electronic music are always welcome.
Folk | World Music
As a teenager, discovering the breathtaking work of the Australian group Dead Can Dance sparked Wendel’s lifelong passion for folk and traditional music from different eras and regions.
Today, thanks to advanced sample libraries and remote recording capabilities, producing high-quality folk and world music is highly accessible, even on a modest budget. There is no longer a need to travel to remote regions just to capture an authentic santur or exotic percussion track—we can deliver world-class, globally-inspired arrangements straight from the studio.
Hip-Hop | Soul
We fell in love with hip-hop in the mid-1990s, during the golden era when Boom Bap dominated the charts. Tracking down the origins of those iconic hip-hop samples led us to discover the pioneers of Black American music. Since then, soul, R&B, funk, and disco have been staples on our turntables.
To ensure a smooth process free of copyright and licensing headaches, we do not use third-party samples in our productions. Every track is built entirely from scratch. We compose, play, and record every instrument—including piano, electric guitar, bass, horns, and drums—ensuring your music is 100% original and legally secure.
Electronic
Our signature electronic style leans heavily into the fusion of electronic and cinematic music, blending hypnotic rhythmic patterns, experimental textures, atmospheric synth pads, and driving leads. However, if your project calls for a more traditional approach, we love throwing it back to the beats of the '80s and '90s—including synthpop, synthwave, gothic, industrial, and techno.
Jazz | Bossa Nova | Brazilian Music
Producing authentic jazz and traditional Brazilian music beautifully often relies on the magic of live musicians recording together in a room. While this can impact budget considerations, we jump at the chance whenever a client wants to take this organic route.
From swinging jazz themes and aggressive bebop to modern jazz fusion, the delicacy of bossa nova, or the experimentalism of free jazz, we embrace the challenge.
